This new detector is especially engineered for commercial refrigeration systems, cold-storage units, flash freezers, skating rinks, waste-treatment facilities and similar applications. It has sensitivity as low as 50 PPM and meets applicable OSHA/EPA requirements.
The device only detects ammonia, ignoring hydrocarbons, halogens, water vapour, carbon dioxide, aerosols and other ambient gases. Moreover, the robust optical detector can withstand temperature/humidity extremes, sudden shock and constant vibration, and has a life-span of decades.
