Sierra announces the release of its new Micro-Trakâ„¢ 101 Series digital mass flow metre and controller for ultra low gas flows.
The metre measures and controls micro mass flows of gas previously thought by scientists to be too low for a reliable reading and is specifically designed for flow ranges under 4 Standard Cubic Centimeters per Minute (sccm) with a minimum controllable mass flow rate of 0.1 sccm
Micro-Trakâ„¢ is a specialised instrument for accurate and reliable micro mass flow control. Its all-stainless-steel flow path is suitable for most clean gases including corrosives and toxics.
Sierra’s Dial-A-Gas® technology is included in the metre which allows users to select from multiple gases in one instrument. The internal microprocessor is programmed with 10 gases that are commonly used in biotech, pharmaceutical, analytical, and research applications. Other gases may be substituted to create a custom instrument.
