Global provider of gas analysers, SK Elektronik (SKE), has appointed Quantitech as its exclusive UK distributor.
The German manufacturer works on the principle of Flame Ionisation Detection (FID), which includes emissions monitoring, process gas monitoring, and the monitoring of abatement efficiency and emissions from wastewater treatment.
FID analysers provide readings of total organic carbon (TOC), and one of the major strengths of the SKE instruments is their ability to measure TOC across an extensive range of concentrations – from ppm (parts-per-million) to Vol%.
The range includes both portable and fixed continuous extractive gas analysers. There is an IP rated in-situ model which can either be mounted directly on a stack or duct, and a Field Housing option which enables the analyser to be mounted in a convenient location, close to the sampling point.
