Sky Cylinder Testing has acquired the cylinder testing and refurbishing operations of Chemweld, Inc. in Atlanta, Georgia – which was effective from September 1st.
Their new location will operate under the name Sky Cylinder Testing-South. Sky Cylinder, based in Evansville, Indiana, has been in the cylinder retesting business for over 15 years and currently services customers in 14 states in the Midwest.
The Atlanta location will allow Sky Cylinder to better serve its existing customers in the area, and expand their cylinder testing capabilities into the southeastern United States and Florida. With the addition of Atlanta’s facility, Sky Cylinder’s team will grow to nearly 60 employees and will continue to offer ultra-sonic testing and hydrostatic testing out of both locations. Sky Cylinder currently services high pressure, propane, acetylene, and refrigerant cylinders.
