Skyroot Aerospace unveils cryogenic rocket engine

Indian aerospace manufacturer Skyroot Aerospace has unveiled its fully cryogenic rocket engine, Dhawan-1.

The company unveiled its innovation on Twitter, in recognition of renowned Indian Rocket Scientists, Dr. Satish Dhawan’s 100^th birthday.

In a tweet, the company described the Dhawan-1 as, “India’s first privately developed indigenous fully cryogenic engine which runs on liquid natural gas as a fuel.”
