Global Gas Dubai is pleased to announce the start-up and commissioning of its Helium Transfill Facility in Singapore, trading under the name Global Gas Group (Singapore) Pte Ltd.
The Global Gas Dubai enterprise has been serving many clients in South East Asia for the past 4 years with supplies from Dubai and it is expected that the new facility will not only take the firm closer to the client, but also open up new opportunities.
Current helium supply shortages are reported to be having an adverse effect on the South East Asia region and the timely presence of the company’s new facility should help to bridge the shortage gap in the market. With so many changes in the region’s helium market, it is felt that the timing is perfect for Global Gases’ investment.
Deepak Mehta, managing director of Global Gases, comments, “After Dubai, this is our second Helium Transfill Plant. Our expansion plans will continue and we will be commissioning our third Helium Transfill Facility in November 2007, which will strategically position us to service a large geography of helium customers for the offshore industry.”
