Structural change at Air Liquide

Fabienne Lecorvaisier has been appointed Vice-President, Finance and Administration of the Air Liquide Group, effective as of 1st October (2008) and heralding a change of direction for present incumbent John Glen.

Lecorvaisier will be a member of the Group Executive Committee and will succeed John Glen, Air Liquide Vice-President Finance and Administration since 2000 and a member of the Executive Committee since 2001. Glen, according to the company, will be taking a new direction in his career and return to the United Kingdom.

During the past 8 years at Air Liquide, John Glen has made a significant contribution to the development of the group during a period of accelerated growth and geographic expansion, marked by major acquisitions, especially in Asia.

Lecorvaisier is a graduate of École Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées and started her career at Société Générale. She then held various positions at Barclays Bank and the Banque du Louvre.
