UK-based logistics specialist Suttons International Limited, part of the family-owned Suttons Group, has grown its international presence following the complete acquisition of assets from VTG Tanktainer GmbH.
The company’s purchase of VTG’s overseas ISO tank containers, personnel, and customer contracts has seen Suttons launch itself into the list of the top 10 global tank container operators.
Calling it a ‘major step’ in the company’s strategy to expand internationally, John Sutton, Managing Director, Suttons International Limited and CEO, Suttons Group, added that the acquisition improves the value, scale, and flexibility of the company’s reach.
Following the transferral of relevant VTG staff to Suttons International, the two operations have begun integration protocols and logistics planning.
