Gas analysist specialist Systech Illinois has been acquired by Boston-based test and measurement manufacturer Industrial Physics, Inc and merged with one of its other subsidiary companies.
Industrial Physics is a holding company that was created by Union Park Capital to build an integrated network of small and mid-sized business that offer materials and physical testing instrumentation.
It previously acquired flow and package testing expert TM Electronics in October 2016. With this latest takeover, Industrial Physics will combine TM Electronics and Systech Illinois to offer customers a comprehensive suite of solutions for permeation, package testing and modified atmosphere packaging (MAP) gas analysis.
The united company will be fronted by Doug Lindemann, an industry veteran who assumed leadership of TM Electronics in January. It is understood that Bryan Cummings, former owner and President of Systech Illinois, will continue to lead product development for the united corporation.
