Technip wins contract for hydrogen plant

Technip has been awarded an engineering, procurement and construction lump sum contract by PKN Orlen for a hydrogen plant, to be located at its refinery in Plock, Poland.

The hydrogen plant will have a capacity of five tons per hour and is scheduled to be operational in the first quarter of 2009.

This will be the second hydrogen production facility executed by Technip for PKN Orlen. It will be used in the refinery to produce diesel oil.

The facility represents an overall investment of approximately €50m.
