Technologies revving up at the Tenth Grove Fuel Cell Symposium

Aside from the enlightening Grove plenary sessions, a busy and educational exhibition took place and gave delegates a chance to come-up close with some of the innovations set to power the future.

Complimenting the discussions taking place throughout the symposium’s 3 days, the exhibition provided a platform for networking and more specified Q&A about the gadgets, systems and fuelling solutions in development at present and in the years to come.

Experts and enthusiastic exhibitors were on-hand to explain the finer details to any perplexed visitors, including pioneering hydrogen researcher Gerardine Botte of the American Hydrogen Corporation and representatives from Air Products among many others.

The inspiring and innovative Morgan LIFECar was among the many transport technologies on display, demonstrating its economic viability and sleek style. Adding to the plethora of ‘green’ performance machines being showcased at the event, was the Vectrix maxi-scooter, described as a revolution in urban transportation. The Vectrix maxi-scooter is the world’s first high powered electric 2-wheel vehicle designed specifically to compete with its petrol-powered rivals, offering a top speed of 62mph, rapid acceleration, minimal maintenance, low running costs and zero emissions.
