French company Teledyne Gas and Flame Detection (Teledyne) will showcase its gas detection systems at the ADIPEC 2021 event to be held 15th – 18th November 2021 in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
At the exhibit, Teledyne will display its GD1 open-path laser gas detector, which emits light as a cone from one point to another via its customisable laser diode, allowing the beam to penetrate harsh environments. With its high sampling rate of 8000 times/sec, the GD1 also performs real-time auto-calibration and auto-proof testing.
The GD10P infrared (IR) gas detector providers users with IR detector to first-class SIL 2 high demand mode and SIL 3-capable IEC 61508 ed. 2, with a proof test interval of a lengthy 8760 hours. A 15-year warranty is a testament to the product’s robustness.
Teledyne is also involved in the Hail and Ghasha sour gas development. Set to begin operation in 2024, Teledyne was to ensure reliable wireless gas detection with 24/7 availability for the project. Fixed gas detectors combined with a mesh network of the company’s BM25 wireless area monitors were installed as a thorough safety measure.
