Ten people were injured on Wednesday (21 June) after an explosion during a delivery of liquid nitrogen at a Dippin’ Dots facility in Paducah, Kentucky, according to media reports.
Dippin’ Dots, a flash frozen beaded ice cream company, uses liquid nitrogen in the freezing process at the company’s production facility in Paducah.
However, reports said the explosion happened at a building not where the Dippin’ Dots ice cream is made but where ingredients are made for a third party.
Ten people were taken to hospital, according to reports.
