Plug Power Inc. today participates in a tour of a Praxair hydrogen plant with Congressman Chris Gibson (R-NY), followed by a press event at the Praxair, Inc. Technology Center in Tonawanda, NY.
Congressman Gibson will tour Praxair’s hydrogen production facility with Plug Power CEO Andy Marsh and Praxair’s East Region Vice President Jeff Barnhard.
The purpose of the visit was to discuss how Upstate New York manufacturers and technology developers are enabling clean energy technologies for use in many industries, including material handling. Among many of the progressive solutions on display, Congressman Gibson will have the opportunity to operate a Plug Power GenDrive-powered lift truck and simulate a refuelling from a GenFuel hydrogen fuelling dispenser.
