Taiyo Nippon Sanso Corporation has achieved a 16% growth on net sales in the first nine months of 2006.
Figures from the group show that sales are up from Y2.83bn in 2005 to Y3.28bn in 2006. The report explains TNSC’s gas business has fared well thus far and benefited from, $quot;steady shipments to domestic and overseas customers in our principal customer industries, and our US subsidiary also posted a favourable performance in line with our expectations.$quot;
Operating profits also look impressive with a 47.3 percent jump over the last twelve months. However, despite the impressive increase, which was fuelled by the sale of property, plant and equipment, the group expect to register extraordinary losses of around the same amount. As a result no changes will be made to the company’s annual business performance forecasts.
