A new company, Japan Carbonics Holdings Co., Ltd. will be established through the transfer of share ownership and will include both the carbon dioxide gas operations from Ekika Carbon Dioxide and Nippon Sanso following their reorganisation.
The agreement also includes the complete integration of TNSC Group’s carbon dioxide operations into one business unit by 2008, thereby increasing TNSC competitiveness in the carbon dioxide business.
TNSC will gain from the merger by enhancing their strategy towards the development of a network of production bases around Japan as well as the creation of an efficient distribution network to achieve maximum customer convenience.
