Global logistics company Tristar Group has announced its joint venture in Saudi Arabia, United Stars, has signed a long-term contract with Sharjah Oxygen Company (SOC) to transport cryogenic liquids between the UAE and Saudi Arabia.
Tristar recently established its Cryogenic Gas Transport division which offers the leasing of cryogenic ISO tanks and road tankers, in addition to consultation, engineering and intermodal transport services for cryogenic gas.
Soon, it will open a specialised maintenance and repair centre for cryogenic assets in Saudi Arabia.
Eugene Mayne, Group CEO of Tristar, said, “Our latest contract win in Saudi Arabia reflects the strength of the local logistics market, supported by the efforts of local governments.”
