According to widespread reports, discussions are on to open the UAE’s second hydrogen (H2) station in Abu Dhabi.
UAE car dealership and official partner of Toyota, Al-Futtaim Motors, is said be working closely with Air Liquide and Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (Adnoc), Masdar, to explore the best solutions for the UAE regarding establishing a second station in Abu Dhabi.

The reports state that the pilot project aims to explore the potential of H2 energy use in the UAE for the creation of a sustainable, low-carbon society. The company will be leasing a fleet of FCEVs to key government and private institutions on a short-term basis as part of the pilot to promote better understanding of FCEVs and H2-based societies.
