The VRV Group is celebrating the opening of its new cryogenic pressure vessel production facility, housing a number of environmentally-friendly features and constructed to allow for the optimum flow of goods.
The 6,000 m2 extension building in Burago, Italy contains the latest equipment needed to build stainless steel cryogenic pressure vessels according to the latest norms and construction codes both for stationary and mobile equipment.
“This new building for the construction of stainless steel cryogenic pressure vessels is the latest investment of the VRV group in order to serve our customers in a better way,” declared Federico Spada, CEO of the cryogenic division of the VRV Group.
Constructed to permit an optimum flow of goods resulting in a minimum construction time, the new installation contains an array of environmentally-friendly features, such as a high-efficiency water collection cistern, recycled construction materials and a cleaning agent recovery system. The company also has an application in place to have the building certified with LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) status, a nationally accepted benchmark system for the design, construction, and operation of high-performance green buildings.
