WITT Gasetechnik GmbH & Co. KG (Witt) has unveiled the gas analyser PA 7.0, a new development that can measure trace oxygen (O2) levels in the parts per million (ppm) range.
In many industrial processes, even the smallest amounts of O2 can cause major problems, such as undesired oxidation. The new PA analysers highly sensitive zirconium cell means that it can even detect trace quantities of O2 in gaseous media.
While the classic PA with chemical sensor measures in increments of 0.1 %, the new zirconium version detects in the ppm range. The accuracy of the measurements is +/- 5% relative to the measured value.
