FuelCell Energy Solutions GmbH (FCES), a provider of ultra-clean, efficient and reliable fuel cell power plants, will be participating in the Hannover Messe industrial technology trade show held later this month.
The show, which is held from the 13th to 17th of April, will include the display of a full-size replica of a 400kW fuel cell stack that measures over four metres in length – the largest commercial fuel stack in the world.
“Our market-proven fuel cell power plants, with more than 50 installations operating globally, are affordably solving energy and environmental challenges for customers in nine countries,” said Andreas Frömmel, Vice President, FuelCell Energy Solutions, GmbH. “Combined heat and power configurations further support economics while advancing sustainability goals.”
FCES will demonstrate the continued advancement of stationary fuel cell power generation at the Hannover Fair, including the display of a 400kW fuel cell stack replica. The total length of the stack measures 4.5m and consists of more than 500 individual fuel cell components, with each component about one metre in length but only about 12mm thick. The net electrical output of the fuel cell stack is 400 kilowatts, adequate to power approximately 900 average-size German homes.
