Worthington Cylinders has announced an eight per cent price increase on all aluminium propane cylinders.
‘Despite every effort to contain our raw material costs, the dramatic increase in cost and tight supply of raw materials has forced us to pass on this increase to the market,’ said Dusty McClintock, vice president of sales.
Aluminium demand continues at record levels both domestically and internationally, and with a tightening aluminium supply and increasing raw material costs, the mills have raised prices. Those increases have significantly impacted the company’s costs.
Pricing will take effect on all orders shipped on or after 1 May 2006.
