Worthington Cylinders has announced a 6 percent price increase on all steel refillable refrigerant cylinders and refrigerant recovery cylinders.
Company executives are defending the increase saying they had undertaken $quot;significant efforts$quot; to keep the prices down. However, they say the price rise follows a noticeable increase in production costs, mostly from brass, steel, paint and energy used in the process.

Pricing will take effect on all orders shipped on or after March 15 2007.
