Worthington Industries Inc., has been recognised as a Supplier of the Year in the John Deere Achieving Excellence Programme, as well as being selected as a recipient of a John Deere supplier innovation award for 2015.
Selected for the honour, the US-based steel processor received the first accolade for its dedication to providing products and service of outstanding quality, as well as its commitment to continuous improvement.
Award selections for the innovation award are based on the creativity, feasibility, collaboration and bottom-line impact of products or services that companies have provided to John Deere.
Worthington supplies hot-rolled and cold-rolled cut-to-length steel sheets to John Deere Harvester Works in Illinois, and the John Deere Ottumwa Works in Iowa, for the fabrication and assembly of combine harvesters and hay and forage equipment.
