Yara opens world’s largest AdBlue® plant

Yara was set to open the world’s largest AdBlue plant in Sluiskil, Netherlands on Tuesday, 31 January 2006 to market its leadership Air1® brand across Europe.

The plant has an annual capacity of 200 000 tonnes of Air1® confirming Yara’s position as the number one producer of the high quality urea solution used to reduce NOx emissions from heavy-duty vehicles in Europe.

The plant is conveniently located for distribution by road and via the inland waterways flowing into the North Sea. Yara’s Sluiskil AdBlue plant guarantees Air1® customers the best possible reliability and security in supply.
